A pyramid is a four-sided building with
triangular sides. Pyramids were used in
ancient Egypt to enclose a royal tomb, eg:
the Great Pyramid of Khufu/Cheops at El Gεza,
near Cairo, 230m (755ft) square and 147m
(481ft) high. The three pyramids at Gεza were
considered one of the Seven Wonders of the
World.
